This city is full of landmarks, skyscrapers and you will relish its exciting culture. Hop on the train to the East Village and visit their colorful neighborhoods. Your walking tour is sure to give you an appetite so you may want to stop in for the yummiest macaroni and cheese at S’MAC (they serve a variety of macaroni and cheese dishes). Take in the atmosphere of Fifth Avenue and their shops such as Henri Bendel. Don’t leave without visiting Times Square which is full of neon, souvenir shops and theaters and right in its heart you will find the Tickets Booth that sells low cost theater tickets. Located off the coast of Southern California you will find another great vacation spot which is Catalina Island. Brimming of clear blue water, the island is undeveloped and pure. It is only a two hour ferry ride from the Los Angeles area so many individuals go there for a day trip or a quick weekend getaway. When you arrive on the island you can choose to rent a bicycle or golf cart and tour the town. This is a wonderful way to search through the charming neighborhoods and shops and simply take in the easygoing life style. Other activities include snorkeling and horseback riding.

Picture postcard views and beautiful neighborhoods make San Francisco another must see city. Stroll leisurely around Fisherman’s Wharf to grab a seafood meal and a loaf of sourdough bread! Be sure to take in the breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge at this waterfront market area. There are several souvenir shops and ships with history which only add to its thrilling atmosphere. Enjoy a cable car ride up the hilly streets and later on the evening, take in a show at Davies Symphony Hall. You could possibly leave your heart in San Francisco but do not leave without seeing Chinatown which is the largest and oldest of its kind in North America. It is chaotic and colorful.

Probably no city has as much to offer every family member as Orlando Florida which is why it makes for a perfect vacation. It has great hotels to fit all types of budgets and many of them offer shuttles to and from the park. In addition to its many theme parks, its accommodating climate makes for year round golfing and fabulous night life. If you have children or don’t have children, you must still explore Disney World as it provides their visitors with so many things to do such as movie theaters, restaurants, art galleries and shopping centers like Downtown Disney.

Because Washington D.C. is not a stale political city, its multitude of museums, historical sights and restaurants make for a truly fun vacation. Many of the attractions are free such as the Smithsonian Museums. This city has one of the best, convenient and user friendly subway systems around known as the Metrorail. You can spend hours at the Smithsonian museums (their National Air & Space Museum and National Gallery of Art are musts). The State Department offers interesting tours that provide glimpses of many antique collections and china pieces that belonged to the First Families through the years. Since there is so much to see, try to fit in Arlington Cemetery, the Lincoln Memorial, the Ford Theater and Washington Monument. For a unique dinner, visit the Point of View at the W Hotel, which offers great views of the Potomac River.
